I love this story and I’m sorry but I’m not a big Pokemon fan.

Was trying to see if I could write a decent story without an OP mc and make it a bit more realistic…if you're a fan of my stories you should check it out

That is stupid it’s not a priority it would be something COMPLETELY foreign to the people of the North, the whole world really so the only way it could happen is with direct Interference of the MC when there are a WHOLE LOT of other more important things to do when they are just starting to build a settlement, hygiene was something people did on their own trimming nails hair and the like was done every day by people in their own homes they would never make a salon for it as one of the first buildings in a new settlement

Other unexpected thing was the creation of a beauty salon, some woman were rather delicate and avoided work were strength or endurance were involved, for them I planned a small hut for 5 women that would cut hair, maintain beards, etc. such a work for now would not be profitable for some time but I assured them that once the town is big enough and their popularity was raised, money would flow easily and since the 5 women working had husbands that provided for the moment they didn't dislike the idea.

Even an honorary position would be an insult after all even they are just servants maybe a position as an external advisor/ambassador cold be given to Gandalf or some noble of Arda but never the King, that is an insult after all is akin to calling that King a servant to the Iron Throne.

OromisEldaGlaedr

See this is nonsensical why would a foreign king of a kingom that far far FAR surpasses the 7 Kingdoms and is NOT a vassal to the Targaryen crown serve key word “SERVE” the crown in the Small council?? I would understand as I said someone like Gandalf given a position as ambassador or some kind of supervisor after all they are a VASTLY more powerful neighbor and could realistically just invade if they so wished, I know they don’t want to but still non readers can’t know that.

Exactly I just don’t think belief is a good standard for it after all we have Wargs and Bran and their magic too.

Aegon. He had to keep calling himself that. He did not want to be Jon Snow. He could not afford to. Not after he almost burned himself last year. He had started going with the flow, and allowing himself to use the name Jon Snow, even within his own mind. That allowed for a painful lesson. He was a dragon. Or as close as humanly possible. If he stopped believing that, then he would burn. Snow melts under fire after all.

Well the series didn’t end after all it was a pity it was cancelled after his death and the books are still not finished. A true pity 😂

"What about my siblings, Aegon and Rhaenys, their mother and my mother too?" He might not be a hero or particularly honourable, but the death of innocents, especially what would be considered his family? Yeah, he did not fuck with that. Whilst he could still understand his feelings of his past life as an orphan, he knew exactly what family would mean. Some would view it as a weakness, but he saw it as something to draw strength from, something to live for. He really was not a cold or particularly manipulative person.

So they are 3 brothers and two of them are named Eddard?? It’s still a bit weird

Yes I understand and the women could work the fields or as I said make clothes that are vital for the cold weather, have them carry the firewood when the men are working to make the walls or shelter they cook and prepare what they kill after all food needs to be prepared your prey skinned the pelts require their work too, the fields need tending, washing of clothes the hearths kept burning along with other things for day to day life of the smallfolk. A house requires it’s own work, especially a medieval one.

This is so stupid, it just doesn’t make sense Tywin now sees that the Targaryens are pushing and advantage and seem to be really close to winning and he also has a young, now battle tested prince that has gained renown and fame with his victories against the rebels a prince he KNOWS he can get after all he is unmarried and would potentially take Cersei in a second if it gave him the Lannister Army after that winning the rebellion would be a piece of cake and he would have Aerys in so bad a spot he could easily have him deposed if not even poisoned by Pyrcel and an absentee crown prince that has started everything in the first place so an easily deposed heir too one that could also easily have an “accident” along with his own son leaving him with a famed hero that would have basically single-handedly won the Rebellion. Instead he is choosing a Hail Merey hoping to somehow get a good position in the new rebellion that is at the moment being crushed.

Tywin Lannister's baritone could silence a mounted charge. Not that Loren knew anything about those really; it just seemed to stand to reason that they would be loud. Personally he hoped he would never find out. "We must reach King's Landing before they do." Ah, we're going to reinforce the capital. Good on us! "The Targaryen dynasty was once great enough to bring the Lion Kings of old to their knees, but no longer. Aerys has spat upon the Lannister name too many times." Oh. We're going to attack the capital.

That’s stupid offer yourself to Tywin it’s the better option.

Aelor nodded, features drawn in in thought. "If I offer myself as a husband to either Catelyn or…what's the other one's name, the younger girl?"

The correct title would be Prince of ”insert castle here”

His retinue pulled their horses to a stop at the fork in the road just outside the gates, the traders scurrying around the forty strong formation, many staring at the attractive dragonlord sitting astride the white palfrey, or the famed Barristan the Bold, fully armored and mounted on his own grey gelding. Slightly behind them a man bore the three-headed red dragon on black field banner of House Targaryen, and beside him another bore two three-headed white dragons facing each other on a black field, the personal coat of arms of Prince Aelor Targaryen, Lord of Duskendale.

Not really they are battering rams and catapults as well as death machines in the battlefield

I shook my head and said, "Aye, they would be beasts on the battlefield but they can't get into castles or houses in a city. Their size is their obstacle."

Bringing Wildlings south would gain you the ire of the Northern Lords

The biggest shock for the North was not the ships but the coming of giants and Thenns to Winterfell. Even I didn't expect Thenns as they considered themselves the last of First Men and had nobles of their own.

At the time Jeor Mormont was the Head of House Mormont so he should have talked to him.

"I will contact Maege myself, I'm sure she will not deny such a prospect. I will also ask Dacey whether she wants to go to Moat Cailin or stay in Winterfell. It will be her decision, not yours. In the meantime, you will do exactly what I say. Do you understand?"

My point is that it is they are in a place that , for the moment they are “surviving” not even living, they are in a SUPER small village where they have to work for their bread every day and are still in the process of building, they have more important things to care about and they also do that kinds of things on their own that kind of “business” or establishment is a fairly new invention so yes it is preposterous it would be akin to a group starting to settle in the Americas and build a few houses and after that a “hair salon” they would be either so tremendously stupid that they would die after throwing themselves into the sea and also be so vain that they deserve to die painfully, no they would first start building shelter, after that some basic buildings like a tavern and some kind of merchant stall and a good wooden wall or other kind of fortifications, the women wold start using pelts amd other things to make clothes help in the fields and such never a building that they would have no concept of and that in their situation they are in would not be even halfway in their priority list. Even after they have a powerful Holdfast, a Castle AND a huge town only noble ladies would have servants to tend to their looks and “fashion” needs rich merchant wives and the like may have some kind of “meeting spot” they use to gossip and the likes but those things would be also done in their manors and by servants common folk would do what little they did in their homes when they had time. So yes it is ridiculous and stupid for a small village ESPECIALLY one in the North and even more when that area is constantly attacked by Iron Born and Wildlings to have a “hair salon” or anything of the like.
