basically, what you're saying is that marie antoinette was a brilliant woman who knew the issues her people were facing, yet she couldn't do anything about it because she had no actual power ? she was a part of the ruling class, and with the way they lived , how lavishly they spent and how much wealth they wasted on grand feasts and Palaces, you'd think that they'll know how to actually govern or at least escape the consequences of their hedonistic lifestyle and the wrath of those who they exploited 🤷 but hey at least the things they left behind looks nice in museums
