Tbh, I actually never expected a combination mechs to appear in a tournament. We haven't really see them much, but I'm also a fan of Digimon and there's a whole bunch of fusion digivolve Digimons, so ... it would be really interesting to see a whole lot of them. There's my fav of all time, Omnimon... Maybe turning two Frontline mechs into a combination mechs would be a great idea. I also think, the real reason combination mechs, only appear until now, logically because this practice will turn one of mech pilots, end up useless. Just like how, multi pilots mechs didn't receive much love from Exlor too, maybe author should entertain the idea of pairing one of the combination mechs, to be mechs that don't use neural interfaces... Tbh, I think if she's specialized in tranphasic laser weapons... Ves might think otherwise. Ves has been waiting earnestly for one of his student, but I think with the current development of the clan, I think his patience has already reach the breaking point to grab for an alternative. Hes's getting too busy and it's almost a decade since the last release of new techs by MTA. The previous one, has clear aim of targeting his luminar crystal laser's advantage over normal laser techs, by 15%, the next one would surely even it out...

If you really think about it, while turning it's entire arm into a ballistic gun, but there's omnimon... will a frontier mech, with the same design as omnimon would be weak? Omnimon pretty much embody what a hero mech , especially Ouroborus to a T...

Why the Clive been given bye to final? At least make it semifinal, with 3 groups from qualifiers to justify such bye. Or maybe the Clive already given bye to final, so it's between Ves's group and another pair to clash before meeting the Clive in the final?
