I appreciate reading your notes and learning about the thoughts you share. The chapter updates might have been less than usual but they were consistent. I rarely remember a time when I opened the app and there wasn't at least one chapter updated. I understand how difficult it can be to keep a schedule or activity consistent during transitions and hard times. It was kind of like the basic version of your update routine and you can slowly expand according to your health and state of being. I don't know the reason i am posting it other than the fact that I feel you are being very hard on yourself. I truly love the turn the story is taking for Lucas and his family. I have a concern and a question though. It's more about my perspective and how I perceive some words and how I felt them getting challenged here. I associate the word "force " with something negative and resistance inducing. For example, forcing oneself or forcing others. However, here the word "forcing oneself" is depicted in a positive light. Lucas "forcing" himself to stop being a pushover and "taking" decisions for his own well being. I feel amazed that nearly a year has passed for them in the novel. I wonder how many months to be exact. I want to know about different perspectives regarding what I mentioned too as long as it's alright with the person reading it.
