couldn't agree more

"Congratulations, Ascended Nightingale. Welcome to the club… the I Killed Myself club? No, that doesn't sound right. Let's call it the Othercide Club. You know, for people who killed the other, evil version of themselves."

oh and as for the introvert bit we've seen him interact with people before and he wasn't bothered by almost any social interaction where the other person wasn't definitively more powerful than him and intending to wield that against him.

Hmm… yes. Why should she? Jay wondered. He didn’t want to jump straight to threatening her. It was the simple solution, but it would leave a bitter taste in his mouth if he did.

true

That was the best praise that they had managed to get out of her yet, and Karl was sure that it was a good sign that she was warming up to them a little bit.

that is a very generous interpretation of what the humanoid figure looks like, but if the bear was also slightly deformed then yeah I guess it could be mistaken for that if the lights were very dim.

But you didn't get to pick and choose your targets in a fight. There was a threat, and you had to deal with it, so this sort of training would be incredibly valuable to them later. Karl knew that there were many species of giant humanoid monsters as well. Orcs, Trolls, Ogres, Owlbears and many more.

owlbears? since when is an owlbear a humanoid creature?

taikonaut is actually the Chinese version of an astronauts so he actually did know the word

It probably could, considering that the force propelling the flying vessel was sorcerous in nature. However, that didn't mean that the helmsman and the passengers would survive space. So, this was probably as close as Sunny would ever get to being a taikonaut… a cosmonaut? Astronaut? Whatever the word was.

well it certainly counts for more than telling her you killed her, but considering anake's fate and both hers and yours reactions not by much.

'But then again, adding that your evil version betrayed the other Defiled and brutally slaughtered countless innocent people just to create a future where she remains alive… should count for something, right? I mean… it's a bit romantic. Right?'

likely the same way he remembers the past that is his future. the sin of solace. remember he was said to be almost sane despite the defilement which sunny stated was likely due to the sin of solace weaponizing a fraction of his brain against the rest of it thus driving the sane insane and the insane towards sanity.

The purpose of the mysterious Memory… was to prevent the Sin of Solace from sharing any knowledge of the previous cycles with Sunny. So that he never remembered what had happened in the past, and therefore never learned the cursed knowledge of Defilement.

or a smuggler's box

After around seven cycles of darkness and light — he couldn't tell exactly how many because of how strange time had become — he successfully altered the [Capacious Chest] enchantment of the Covetous Coffer to allow it to store living beings. He had not copied the weave of a Supreme Memory, but rather borrowed a few elements from it.

yeah its a transcendent terror and to make it even more ridiculous its literal only job at the moment is to protect a single girl who possibly isn't even a dormant level entity.

It took him a few moments to come to terms with what he was looking at. There was no denying it, indeed — Sunny was a Terror now. A creature of dreadful power, second only to the calamitous Titans.
