The only two events I deem necessary for the plot are 1. Naruto befriends Sasuke. 2. Akatsuki starts war after Naruto & Sasuke grow up. Fujin doesn't need to stick to the original story in anything else and can change everything freely as long as he ensures these 2 events happen. Unfortunately, teaching Naruto properly destroys everything. Not only Naruto isn't mentally ready to be so strong, but it would alienate him even further, preventing him from making friends. It could also force Akatsuki's hand. I'd prefer hearing a justification like that, instead of mindlessly forcing canon.
[A/N: It's so damn tempting to take Naruto as a proper student and train him to make him insanely overpowered, especially considering how easy that is. Unfortunately, that will go against Fujin's plans and making him do something that will be detrimental to his plans would go against his character. That will make him inconsistent. So, I can't do much here. I'll definitely explore this path in my next fanfic though.]

He was impressed when Uchihas prepared a battlefield with seals. If he could create a favorable battlefield with imprints mid-fight, it would be a game-changer. Especially the seals preventing earth wall jutsu would make him a killing machine. On the topic of earth walls, he wanted to use them with his feet. See he just has one chance at life. And he has no interest in depending upon luck or hoping some plot supports him to avoid their radar or to get him out of trouble once he has been noticed. I don't plan on making MC behave like a moron just to get himself in trouble and then giving him insane luck or power boost to get him out of trouble. (PS : He may fall in trouble later on, but it'll be due to circumstances out of his control and not due to stupidity)

What Fujin is doing isn't being cautious. It's making himself a target. The actual cautious thing to do is to become famous and gain Hiruzen's protection - to become a light of the village instead of a darkness

There was a cannon on the ship capable of killing a jonin and in near future there will one capable of destroying a moon (so it must be already in development and/or there may be lesser versions of it but still capable of mass destruction). Whether it's firing chakra or explosives is beside the point. It's technology, not jutsu. To be honest, stating the obvious isn't much of a problem. It's salvagable/passable. Probably I wouldn't even mention it if I weren't peeved that prince has higher level than Guy, when it's his side-job at most. Some sheltered kid is stronger than war tempered taijutsu genius who is obsessed with training. I can accept I can be wrong about technology but no one will convince me Guy isn't wronged in this chapter

Guns may be ineffective but powerful missiles can still level a village even if they miss ninjas. Technology tends to simplify processes that otherwise require highly skilled specialists. In this case, whether it is kage-level destructive power or tokubetsu jonin expertise, with technology even genin can achieve such effects. It's unbelievable they wouldn't see prospects of technology when they already experienced its wonders. I deem the conversation in this chapter as unnecessary but it's only my first impression. Who knows how deep this conversation will go - Time will tell and it may change my mind ;)

I'm not sure if it's that novel when they already have computers and advanced artillery. Wars drive technological advancement. We've seen it in our world wars and they had three of them. You don't have to be a genius to see how technology's importance raises in successive wars As is, this meeting seems redundant to the story, but maybe it's just a conversation opener. We'll see in the next chapters. Till then I will keep my hopes up

I liked the new daimyo because he added some unpredictability to the story + he didn't have the flaws of the canon one. I don't like the concept of daimyos in Naruto World, but erasing them entirely from FF seems not right, so your choice is one of the best you could take. But the appearance of a teenager who became stronger than Guy as a hobby is bothering me. And creating this whole scheming just to follow a natural course of action (technology is the future whether you do something about it or not) and talking as if it was some sort of enlightened truth when it's quite obvious - I don't think there's a need for it You are so many chapters ahead on your Patreon, so I guess nothing will change no matter what I say. Hopefully, future chapters will convince me to the prince ;)

In the previous chapter Lyra's quest was to hunt lighting-element magical beast. I guess it was a mistake. I left a comment there so you can easily find it and change it to earth ;)
The beast they killed was a Lightning-type beast. It wouldn't finish their quest, so they would have to keep hunting. But they still got their hands on a core that they could use to finish a mission later. They would just take a Lightning Magical Beast hunting mission and submit the Beast Core. That was generally what Marcus did for his Mercenary Quests.
