Some expressions in this book are brilliant. I have found so many that I already experienced but never found how to express them. It makes me relate more with every character of the book. I'm in love with the author's writting.
Days passed as though someone were snipping off chunks of time. Maxi gradually got used to the hard labor. Though life at the camp was far more difficult than she had anticipated, she did not feel the need to grumble.
