The writing for the first 50 chapters or so is horrendous. I'm considering dropping this story at this point. Heck, I wanted to earlier but stuck through it hoping it'd get better. Within 30 chapters the premise seems pointless, he's hardly a stick anymore, more like some wood spirit thing. None of the characters so far are interesting in the slightest, not the least being the mc himself. The progression of his strength is unsatisfying, with time skipping and him just gaining levels in several skills, boring fights, and boring skills in of themself. And what's with the idea presented in ch35-ish that the sticks, can be intimate? What pointlessly weird and uncomfortable world building, if you could call it that. And the diologue, good god it's atrocious. Bland, completely without nuance, and adds little to nothing to the reading experience. And the word "snigger" and "sniggered" is used way too often. There was a chapter it was used like 3 times. Grab a thesaurus. I'm going to try to keep going, and I'll change the review if I feel like it gets better, but for the first few dozen chapters at least, it's really bottom of the barrel, first ever story type of material.
