Generic at begining but gets better. Makes me cringe like hell and around chap 750 it feels like the author snorted a line and went crazy with obscure references. Im sad to drop it as I enjoyed some of it but I cant get into it anymore

i don't know if im crazy but I can barely understand whats going on in the first few chapters. Like all of a sudden he teleports to a stone platform as he walks out of the dorm? I am so confused, great story though

One of my all time favorites and one of the first novels I have ever read. It starts off slow but entertaining. He stays alone by himself and his pets for a long time but soon he builds a city. The writer is very intelligent and explains things very well. The background on the main characters are never really explained and they are hard to relate to.

Great story, I would say 4 stars due to the fact that its slow. Still the characters all have great backstories and its a good read even though I hate system novels
