in the show they didn't explore more about the originals fighting in details. the originals fought like any other vampires with just speed and strength, and easily lost to younger vampires many times. the originals fighting should be like how Vikings fought easily against multiple opponents.
Thorfinn charged and swung his sword in a more controlled manner than before. Elijah avoided the first swing but was surprised when Thorfinn switched his grip on the sword and swung at his midsection; Elijah brought his sword up and blocked it, their clash was short as Thorfinn jumped back before rushing forward with another flurry of attacks. Elijah decided not to bring the fight to a close just yet, he was studying Thorfinn at the moment; his movement was clumsy and he often overextended himself leaving him open but he was fast and his blade moved where he wished it to, which is a good foundation to work upon.

When they clashed again Elijah grabbed Thorfinn by the back of the head and hit him against his blade making him stumble back. "You're fighting as if we are having fun, as if this is but a game, battle is not a game boy, you must use everything at your disposal to win," Elijah said before gripping his sword with two hands and swinging down. Thorfinn stepped back clumsily to avoid it, he then swiped his sword trying to hit Elijah's chin. Unfortunately, Elijah was taller than he was so the sword passed an inch or two away from his face.

(AN: So this is the main Love Interest Rebekah Mikaelson and yes they will all become original vampires. But tbh I really liked the flash backs of the originals before they were turned snd this is a Vikings fic as well so for now it'll mostly be Vikings though supernatural things will be included too. Werewolves will be changed and instead of wolves they'll transform into Lycans cause I think they're cooler. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.)

After all of this was in order I continued to train my magic. I have started to train my magic on the second day I came back to kingslanding. I was able to manipulate fire and air naturally. Water with some effort. Earth took bit of time but all I was able to do was move a stone from one place to another. So, I started to concentrate and gain expertise in fire and air magic. During these 15 days I was able to create fire the size of human head and able to manipulate it. I shooting power of my fire ball left only a scorch on a tree. Air mastery is much easier as I was able to train in it constantly. Initially I was only able to move some air around, later I was able to push some things with it. I have created an air blast spell. I want to have good control on the magic before moving onto some lethal spells that I have thought of before.
