Omg i’ve been in similar situations.
She wasn’t nearly as graceful as the others or as clean. Who knew eating with your hands was so tricky? The food often fell from her fingertips, and the sauce was everywhere.

I really like this description
The king had the same stature as Kai. Around his eyes, though they aged from a life lived, they softened the same way, and the flames glowed in his irises strong with life. He had a regal calmness that called to her.

“No!” Dayton shouted as he grabbed Juniper’s arm and flung her away. She hit the side of the barn so hard that her head launched back and hit the wood. With a blink of an eye, all she saw was Dayton engulfed in a gush of flames.
