Okay, the biggest flaw of this novel, and a HUGE one at that, is the lack of descriptions. Character and setting descriptions or basically non existent which ruins the immersion.
It’s was 100 years ago , obviously the population would increase, especially if the Aliens made force people to increase the population so that they could have more slaves.
Those businessmen from Earth really know how to hike up prices, oppressing their own kind.

I understand what you’re getting at, but what you’re saying is baseless. You’re applying you world view onto aliens which in itself is illogical. Humans ourselves do a lot of things that’s not the most efficient for a number of reasons. For example, it would be more efficient and better for the environment if every country adapted using high speed trains instead of cars but we don’t (mainly greed).
If not for the Arleanians needing Earthlings to mine Void Crystals for them, humanity would have long been extinct.

Love the story so far, I just hope the need for the helmets and pods go away later as it’s just too inconvenient. Mainly the fact someone can only have one helmet is problematic for me because what happens if someone steals/hides yours so you can no longer log in and get stronger or even destroy it.
