Elle snapped her eyes wide. She grabbed the fabric near to her hand and gasp even more for breaths, in a hurry to fill her dry lungs with more air. She turned her body around the bed, gripping to her elbows that felt aching in a terrible itch. She felt her own tears running down from her eyes without her control and even though she tried to stop reacting to the ache, the pain only became even more terrible. She cried and grabbed to something realizing this entire time she had held into Magnus's arms, digging her nails into his skin while he stared down at her with eyes covered in a gloomy concern.
