Pretty neutral so far. Went against the purebloods by revealing that they used to work with muggles for a long time, and pushed back against muggle superiority beliefs by explaining the Floo. Equally critical to both sides, pointing out their flaws. Not a bad history professor, Crouch.
Crouch had done nothing radical as of yet. For now, his actions were only intended to get the people on his side. But eventually, he knew that the man had the potential to become the mouthpiece of the dark lord's propaganda machine if he played his cards right—all while acting as his eyes and ears at Hogwarts.

Lol author tooting his own horn. I’m here for it though, it is a smart idea.
"Smart, right?" Dupont asked rhetorically. "Of course, the method was not fool-proof, but nothing in the world is."

Lol just because you say something confidently doesn’t make it true. The diary horcrux could manipulate people, the ring horcrux got Dumbledore to forget his wits and succumb to the withering curse, the locket horcrux preys on the trio throughout half of book 7, and both the cup and the diadem whisper into Harry’s mind in the seventh movie. I get what you’re saying, but there is good precedent either way of the argument.
A whisper. A call. A plea. A promise. A subconscious pull in the back of his mind to come closer, to investigate.

*shrug* Voldemort’s got good taste, what can I say?
Edmund found himself standing in the center of a library that would be any bookworm's dream. The room was massive, two stories tall and the length of a small hallway. Bookshelves lined both of the walls, spanning from the bottom to the very top. A small winding golden metallic staircase led to the second floor, where a balcony wrapped around the edges of the entire room, overlooking the main area. The wall facing the double doors leading out of the library was curved, a semicircle covered with dark red velvet curtains. From the looks of it, the entire section was composed of glass panes, providing what Edmund knew would be a fantastic view. Sofas, armchairs, and other forms of seating were tastefully placed about, each with their own dedicated reading light hovering above them in addition to the enormous crystal chandelier suspended from the ceiling. Dark oak wood was the unifying theme, present in the hardwood, the shelves, the furniture, and even the mantle. Contemporary yet traditional, aesthetically pleasing yet practical; the room was a perfect mix.

Besides, if you think AK kills all magical creatures, then do you think basilisk would have died to it as well. If that were true, why would it be known as such a wizard killer. One AK, and BOOM, dead. But I don’t think so.

Bruh, I know exactly what fanfic you’re thinking of. In books, Avada Kedavra is requiring dark emotion to cast, like other unforgivables. No mention of animal, bloodless, painless, or anything. If AK was so overpowered, by your logic, so many people shouldn’t die to magical creatures every year, but still they do.

Agreed
So, to get the SP as quickly as possible, he went for the desperate measures: The Slytherin Dorms... and the Girls' side of the dorms. Up until now, he hadn't tried Slytherin or Ravenclaw dorms and any girls' dorms yet due to obvious reasons, but now was not the time to be hesitating.
