This is so good!! Cale is such an interesting character. I don’t think I’ve met another character quite like him. His intentions are selfish and yet he continuously does good deeds. I love how he interacts with the other characters of the book.
Funny and well rounded characters. My go to story to cheer me up. Can’t wait to read more!

There were so many injuries on him that when he was lowered into the clean water, a quiet whimper escaped from his lips.
