This guy really is like Danzo.
The last thing he saw was Lily Evan's wide eyes, as she realized that she was about to be blown up. It probably wouldn't be enough to stop her, but all that Saul Croaker felt as he passed away was satisfaction…

I like how everyone in the comments is blaming Danzo. 😂
"In the summer before my third year, an organization contacted my parents. Apparently, they were impressed by my talent and wanted to offer a scholarship of some sort. It was small, at first, just a few extra books, but then they offered instruction on Occlumency and Legilimency, then duelling lessons… I saw it for what it was, but my parents were convinced that this would be the best opportunity I could have. They were all so nice, but then when I refused to learn the blood-boiling curse, they took me aside and threatened my parents, my family, if I didn't cooperate. I had no idea who they were, at the start. They just called themselves the foundation."

If he's getting the resurrection stone it's probably a power up. And since the author has shown the power scaling in this au, a nerf would not make any sense.
Harry knew he was being a little impulsive, but he had done his best considering the circumstances. Truth be told, he was more than a little desperate; his magic kept burning with extended use, something that was starting to terrify him. Even Arcturus looked concerned by the lack of progress regarding his position. The healers had tried to make him take ice baths every day and while they did help, they barely alleviated the symptoms let alone the disease.

A perfectly reasonable response IMO. He's not 100% healed and can't use his magic freely. And that fang substance seems to have some sort of compulsion. What if it had a curse on it? Without his magic he'd probably fall prey to it.
This was the closest thing he could compare it to. A giant fang coming from the ground… Harry felt drawn to it, but inches before touching it, he shook his head and decided to leave it be. He would come back in a few months to explore it properly. Additionally, the thing looked as big as him anyway and he had no way of removing it, not with how much using his magic hurt him when it came to performing straining spells.

I think there's a typo here. in one of the previous chapters it was Tracy who was sipposed to face off against Crabbe, but she faced off against someone else, so did Blaise for that matter.
And he was right. His duel, this morning, was against Crabbe of all people. The boy somehow passed to the second round after defeating Goyle in the first round. Harry didn't even have to do anything but cast a normal stunner which knocked his yearmate unconscious.

Four >>> Three
"I'm not saying you're not good. You're very talented for your age. But the four of you together wouldn't be able to land a hit on Lupin let alone the thing that almost killed him. And I know for a fact that I made the right decision."

Interesting line. "using her son for her own ends". explains Harry's disbelief later on in the story.
Black scoffed, "Of course, it wasn't. She thought she was safe under the Fidelius Charm. She might not have expected the attack, but she did plan on killing off James, of using her son for her own ends. I saw it. I saw her, and believe me, I remember. She just didn't expect the Fiendfyre. She did it in a hurry and paid the price for it."

I don't get this. How is he able to avoid literal light based attacks? It should be traveling at the speed of light. Thr fastest thing in the universe.
Blaise was the one who cast first, sending a volley of beams of light towards their opponents who dodged them with unnatural grace. Daphne tried to summon roots to stop it, only for him to jump through the small gaps that would allow them. Tracy wasn't making any difference with the curses that she was using. Harry, though, wasn't attacking, instead, he was working on a plan, while analyzing their opponent. He catalogued the enhanced speed and reflexes in the back of his mind, as he readied his spell.

Ok, so I was probably wrong. That being/creature was not absorbing souls for the jianshi. And obliviating when the camera is still running. sheesh. I thought muggle studies was required for being an obliviator. Would they not have recognized a TV reporter and cameras? And who would be the magical authority in HK in 1991? The Chinese or the British?

He did hint to his previous vampire boots call about visiting planes beyond those of in Oblivion. It would be interesting to see where he ends up. Perhaps one of the portals on Fargrave leads to Sigil, the City of Doors of the D&D multiverse. That city is supposedly the centre of the multiverse and has portals to almost everywhere you can think of.

Reyvin is doing the Lord's work by introducing meme culture to Tamriel.
But seeing as I've invoked tomfoolery earlier, it was time to evoke it "You know Virtuhr, I am something of a prophet myself." I say as I twirl my newly summoned blade lazily.

I like this characterization. It would also explain why she chose to marry in the Weasley family, despite being treated horribly, and was content with being a housewife in Britain, despite being a talented witch and Britain being a bigoted cesspool ruled by Voldy.
Fleur wouldn't deny being captivated by the idea of owning such treasure, but the idea of becoming independent from her father was the far better prize. She was in her last year in Beauxbatons, and doing well in the tournament would give her better future prospects, perhaps even an invitation to join a guild… And with her future secured, she could finally escape her father's influence. She could go to another country, far away from France…

trapped for decades? Does time flow at a different rate in that realm? and what is that realm exactly? does it have a name?
She took a deep breath before continuing, "I stayed trapped there for decades, surviving purely on the realm's magic. It took me a while to notice Black's half-soul. I tried using the connection in his soul, but it was too faint, too unstable. I admit that I took my frustrations out on him a bit. I needed someone to truly kill him on the other side while I did the same on my side. Yet, you somehow managed to surprise me when you killed him in both places at once. And thus, I became free, by your hand."

And this energy/power is what Dumbledore plans to harness? After breaking the prophecy regarding Neville. Does he plan to harness it so he can enact a ritual that gives him.bacj his youth? or does he plan to absorb the power and give himself a magical boost? So many questions. Looking forward to how they are resolved.
"You were there when I gave your friend an explanation about blood magic. A magical promise is like creating order out of chaos, and the world does its best to make it true. However, if it's broken, then the results are unpredictable. The energy of the promise is released explosively with just chaotic results. Now, think about it, what is a prophecy other than a promise from fate itself? Breaking a prophecy, making it so that there is no way it could be fulfilled, well, the energy release is simply incalculable, and if someone harnesses it... Imagine that, the power of Fate itself, in the palm of your hand for a fraction of a second… It's like nothing I had ever experienced before."

Did they use Leviathans and other such chimeric creatures against Grindlewalt?
Instead of drafting an army to fight the upstart, they had sent just five Leviathans. It took them less than a week until every single stronghold was destroyed, and the War Lord had drowned in his own fortress…
