Honestly, it's one of the best cultivation novels I've ever read. The story is engaging from the beginning chapters all the way to the later chapters.

I've really enjoyed the story so far but this chapter absolutely confused me. It feels like I'm reading a completely different novel from the last chapter by accident.

I honestly love how the story is progressing and structured but a small detail has bothered me. The MC has slowly gained more familiarity and trust with a couple characters but why not Alice. She has showed him nothing but sincerity but he still doesn't confide in her and keeps her at a distance. For someone that has supported him almost before everyone else I find that weird.

This was a great chapter! The only thing I'm curious about is why did he let the dragon slayer go? He just gave the enemy a bunch of information about how he can bring in dragonkin to help at anytime. All he said was to leave him alone but he knows "Dragon Slayers" will never leave him alone.
