Do quarterbacks tackle? I thoughts they threw and ran.

It felt like got tackled by a star quarterback, the full force of 90 pounds hitting him square in the chest, causing his vision to temporarily blur and his breath to momentarily escape him. Chion wasn't sure what was going on but he knew it wasn't any sort of threat. Didn't mean he felt any better about it, though, as Annabeth released the youth from her steel like grasp. For someone who was both shorter and weighed less than he himself did, she hit like a freight train running at full speed. Her left hook was even worse as she immediately punched him in the shoulder shortly afterwards.

You know, this speech kind of reminds me, you guys know how in novels, when two people are in the middle of fighting they start talking? I've always wondered if they just talk really fast or they move really slow, because they just start making eight paragraph speeches with a claim, evidence, and reasoning while they physically exert themselves to the limits. In fact I'm basically becoming one of them by writing an entire tangent the length of the Magna Carta. What am I even doing? What are you guys even doing if you've made it this far? You haven't even finished the chapter yet, start reading again, and use your stones or something.

Freeze, fight, flight. Everybody responds to danger differently, it's a result of our body's evolution.

Both the mother and daughter froze up, just like a deer in the headlights. The truck driver panicked when he saw this, and in a fit of panic, he tried to steer to the side, attempting to avoid them. Unfortunately, it was far too heavy, making it do a weird drift.
