Since darkness has such lethality, I'm surprised the polar opposite is depicted as such a powerless element. I've read a lot of light based attacks depicted in fantasy, so the author may need to do some more research on that. For ex, I have read about attacks using the high temperature of light, speed of light, attacks causing blindness, burns, etc using light. I'm not sure if this is deliberately portrayed like this. I don't expect MC to know everything of course. However, the ones I mentioned above are pretty generic and common so I'm surprised light is only connected to healing and brightness here. it's quite underwhelming for me as I'm a fan of light based attacks, followed by Lightning and Metal. 😂
For now they didn't need its healing abilities, and it was better to use a light crystal if they ever found themselves in another dark place like the underground water source.
