Belle stepped out of the room and Eli went back to work. He finally felt at ease with her around. Last time, when Belle was absent because of what happened to Neon, he felt lonely. He didn't want to admit it but when he saw Belle again upon coming home that day, he was relieved that she was there.

As a friend, Eli was delighted that the couple finally had children of their own. It was known that Stefan was afraid for Cayenne to go through an exhausting and painful process of giving birth. He was overprotective of his wife, much like Travis, and he even ended up compromising his work for his wife. He would rather sacrifice the world economy for her instead of the other way around.
