I disagree. It creates a frantic scene. He can’t worry about his surroundings as his life is on the line.
The impact was brutal, sending waves of pain reverberating through his body as he crashed onto the unforgiving rocky ground below. His vision swam, and ugh... stars? Stars danced in his vision, their twinkling lights adding to the disorientation. He couldn't believe it—stars, actual stars, were swirling before his eyes, and it wasn't just some metaphorical expression.

Is this to mean his ability to steal the shadows of others shown at the beginning is unique to him among the other Avatars of Obsidian. Also, is this to say that Avatars have never made it farther than stage one in along time due to the tradition of going to your demise in the abyss?
