Well it builds up and I think the end of the arch makes it worth it. But I don't wish to say much. But there will be another "good guy" scenario

I will admit this is a bit of a slow burn as I keep going back to things. But I also think that's what people do, look back on their life and grow confused when they changed so much and so on. I will warn you, the next arch will be annoying, but it leads to my second favorite arch. My favorite arch being the one I'm writing right now.

Sorry for the late response, I don't get notifications for this for some reason. Thankfully I looked. As for your question, I know it is annoying, because it is. I don't know why I went this route either but I did, and I believe it turns out even more exciting, or even a little more annoying. But its for the overarching plot I have prepared, and this is the way I decided for it flow. Honestly, I think the first volume is only a sample of the wide birth of this world, and for the later chapters I needed something, an element that I will not say. Call it simple, call it basic, but its just what I did. And unfortunately, it will be a tad annoying. So I am prepared for you to stop reading, I don't want you to not enjoy what I wrote. But I do hope this long text helped you in some way understand me and how I write, albeit contradicting. Because humans are contradicting, and I think a contradicting story (in some parts) will be an interesting one.

I'm only using the names for similarities and such. Endocarditis is the name of the disease because it specifically causes it. Think of it as endocarditis is not a symptom anymore. Its just the name of a disease that causes what endocarditis is in our world. Hope this helps, if you have anymore questions and the like let me know. I don't have much of a background in medicine. :)
The disease's base was a common heart disease called Endocarditis and could be cured with relative ease, but Cain's strain was more vicious.

'Sacrificing the pawn was good, but now I must deal with a player, albeit a foolish one. If that idiot was still here I could continue smooth sailing, but the main soul poses trouble, I cannot easily access it like I could to the other me. We are like two different people sharing a soul instead of two people making up a single soul. Damn it, this spells trouble, but for now the Main soul is resting so I can take control!'

Like the Three Primordial Horrors. Basically the final form for Horrors well the most powerful form, the Primordial Horrors existed since the beginning of consciousness. By using the power from the Three he could reach their status and even transcend it a little.
He was now a Primordial, not only a Primordial but one created by the Three, with the sole purpose of destroying the Dream Realm!
