Right, in this case the spouse of the ruler is basically required to also be a noble, in which case they simply retain there title and land, for instance, king and general/lord, rather than king and queen. Sense the throne isn't hereditary, if the king ever died, rather than taking on the role, the spouse would just go home back to there domain.

It's iffy. She has a fixable problem that has made her rather uncoordinated, and thus bad at fighting. However she is physically quite capable. So as of this moment she is correct when she says she isn't good.
