sorry if my criticism was harsh. Just felt it could have been written better. The problem with an MC making an original film, if it's a combination of 2 movies like Joker and dark Knight, but their background doesn't mesh well in the plot, it just becomes a mess. His descent into Joker became rushed and confusing. His lost hope besides the miraculous benefactor Spector insert, the improvised dialogue felt out of place or a bit cringe in the scenes of the last 2 chapters, and I don’t understand the motivations of Joker here nor did his whole moral quandary about the hospital, I assume it was meant to be like Batman with choosing who to save? Instead, he has a choice of killing himself, a whole hospital of innocents, and Joker. Or killing nobody. Not a hard choice

The scene cut off as we came back to see the Joker outside in the halls, using a medical dispenser to clean his hands. By this we know what choice Harvey made, he allowed the Joker to get away.

This is the part I really dislike. The audience in the fic are all hyping up the top tier plot of the joker here, but the changes to Arthur fleck-Joker made their praise incongruous. Because it makes little sense at all, if they were impressed with the plot of a borrowed plot line like the dark Knight then that makes sense. But these changes with Lotus foundation, Arthur fleck becoming Joker and then killing a nurse, his mum surviving but not? His change into Joker makes no sense if he has hope in his life. In a previous chapter where you had angelinas POV of the scene from dark Knight. her awed reaction makes sense. but it didn't in this hospital sequence.
Though, Miyazaki's personal favorite would have to be the hospital bombing scene, because it brought the character of the Joker full circle, with Arthur being made to leave the hospital to the Joker blowing it up.

Visually, it was a stunning scene as they got a close up of Bruce's eyes, this scene was done by Mark showing his real eyes and not the fake contacts he wears out in public.

Thankfully, Lucas' studio came through, and it did, it looked so real that she felt like throwing up. Mark had succeeded in creating an original iconic scene that might just be the breaking point. The point after which almost every person who watched the movie would hate the Joker for his actions.

there's been a lot of expansive romance chapters for a while now. Felt like we'd never get to the start of his next movie. A few paragraphs of highlights for the date, fine. but another long dating chapter and wait for plot progression beyond various background happenings. "This just published, or this IP was acquired." Things were approaching a stand still on the Hollywood movie side of things pace-wise
There's Slam Dunk, Yū Yū Hakusho and Baki The Grappler. All great shonen jump sport manga titles that would do really well in the US with Mark's endorsement. Mark requests her to rest and spend the evening together as a date with Mark cooking dinner for her.

Nice to see the pace is becoming more reasonable with the new projects starting. Few authors keep their muse for several years to a decade of writing, but I hope to see this story continue on past Knives out now that you've laid the groundwork with so many moving parts :) Just hoping it doesn't get too bogged down in the details going forward with Mark taking on so much and with so many with many characters to include in his kingdom building, plus the Harem stuff. I've seen this in many harem stories where there's more than 2-3 girls. The Harem parts become the focus, so they're not just HaremWifey number 5, and the main plot falls by the wayside. Or the other way around.

This is something I really like about your story, author. Hollywood fics focus on the MC starring or directing in movies that already exist, or remaking books, songs and movies in an alternate world. I think the only ones I've read with an original film the MC stars in is Versatile Superstar. Which imo is one of the better fics of this genre so yours is in good company.
I had thought that if I were doing a movie as an actor, I would know the future viability of the project in terms of commercial and critical success. But such couldn't be the case with [Sex-ed]. The best project would be one that combines both of them like Titanic, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, or something like that. But the thing is, I won't know about the future of a movie until I have either seen the original source material or the movie itself in my past life.
