That's more a cultural phenomenon, I think. Most parents here want their children to enjoy their childhood, but encourage their drive. For MC, he's pretty set for life with his new parents. He doesn't technically need to finish high school age 8-10. they're already rich. They have plenty of connections. In their view, MC would take more than a year to finish high school early, and it'd have to be his sole focus to finish it before age 10. They want balance in his life and allow him to be a kid. Also, he'll benefit more to learn acting and to establish himself with the industry rather than spend all his time grinding. Since he's already got 1 major role in a big project, it makes sense he should cultivate that as a priority. Schoolwork will chug along as fast as he does the workload, which will likely be faster than his parents anticipate. I've a hard time believing the tutor will continue giving busy work on things MC already understands.

I wouldn't test out at age 8. That would bring ridiculous amounts of scrutiny that would be annoying to deal with, on the other hand if I was in MCs position here I'd rethink that decision. Maybe work something out where I go to the school just for the music lessons etc. not like he'll attend school full time soon

If you reincarnate and pretend to be a genius, you'll be saddled with a bunch of busy work. And if he's not a genius in the first place and wasn't a med student or something in the first life, he'll have all these expectations to become great. why not do chess? Why not play 2 instruments? spelling bees? He'll receive just as much attention in school as MC here, but more resentment. sure, the other kids would like to be movie stars, so some are envious but also somewhat in awe. It's pretty uncommon for college and universities to admit people below a certain age. And once you have a bachelor's or whatever. Won't they expect the 150+ IQ kid to get a doctorate or achieve other great things beyond education? Now, this MC already faces mostly negative attention from the children for going into movies instead. But that won't be any different if he's in high school instead. plus, maybe the Kloves parents will be a bit wary of what this kind of attention will do to a kid. Only thing I disagreed with MC on is his ideas of college, because if he's going to be an internationally famous actor he won't need to party at college, and it'd be difficult to find any normal relationships there. either people want to get close to your fame or the nice ones will be intimidated by the publicity

risky if you don't know when they were written. imagine you go back to 1970 and plagiarise "Bohemian Rhapsody". you get sued because he started writing it 6 years before release. You'd also be asked about the lyrics and what inspired them or the song in general. If you plagiarise 2 songs with wildly different styles, that'd raise eyebrows as well. there's usually some signature to a song writers lyrics just like an author's book. Like if you "wrote" Harry Potter. You become known for her political and social views from the novels. Then you "Write" the Game of Thrones books. anyone who reads books will know the author is not the same. A music expert can probably pinpoint what songwriter you stole the hit song from, Max Martin wrote or co-wrote 27 Top 100 singles in his career. Many of them sound very similar both musically and lyrically. If you "wrote" one of his songs, they'd think you're either his biggest fan or you somehow stole it.

sorry if my criticism was harsh. Just felt it could have been written better. The problem with an MC making an original film, if it's a combination of 2 movies like Joker and dark Knight, but their background doesn't mesh well in the plot, it just becomes a mess. His descent into Joker became rushed and confusing. His lost hope besides the miraculous benefactor Spector insert, the improvised dialogue felt out of place or a bit cringe in the scenes of the last 2 chapters, and I don’t understand the motivations of Joker here nor did his whole moral quandary about the hospital, I assume it was meant to be like Batman with choosing who to save? Instead, he has a choice of killing himself, a whole hospital of innocents, and Joker. Or killing nobody. Not a hard choice
