wait dude read the article; maya might have mixed in some false stuff
I hadn't read the article Maya wrote so I could only assume that it didn't include the part where I answered this exact question to the headmistress.

at some point I’m wondering if they actually will
"Fuck you," he responded.

Not like it was expensive.

not a conclusion, just a speculation

man is probably getting paid for this lol
This store had a specific cauliflower dish that I wanted to try. It was $14, which was much more than what I'd usually pay for a meal, but since I was getting paid quite lavishly for my 'tutoring' job, I decided to indulge myself.

oh no
And of course, she had the largest crush on Isaac.

???
Isaac fumbled a bit more. His cold face was stony as ever to anyone else, but Kristine, who saw his face every night before sleeping and every morning after waking up, would have surely noticed his mood, would have, had she been sane herself.

…? what about his professor duties
And at last, after an entire month of locking himself up in his personal research lab, under the glint of the dawn sun rays, Isaac wiped the sweat off his brows with one arm and raised the finished product with another.

that’s kinda toxic?
"I'll accept anything" she answered with a forced smile, afraid that he would dump her if she demanded more.

nice
"Let's see who can run longer on the treadmill first," Nathan replied, chuckling as if victory was already in the bag.

good response
Vincent's heart sank, but he appreciated her honesty. He took a deep breath and responded, "I understand, Vanessa. Thank you for being truthful with me."
Urban · MZAF
you should be honest… also since you’re going to physical therapy, it’d have to be a remote relationship… I would just be vague and move on to another person at the party; you’re not 100% ready for romance rn
He hesitated, feeling a bit inadequate compared to her glamorous career. He was about to admit that he was just a student when Nathan, who had been keeping a watchful eye on the conversation, smoothly intervened.

empathy and compassion for the weak, being lenient in violence and deescalating conflicts that’s what leads to world peace
Fenrir shook his head, clearly regretting the actions he had taken before. "The humans are just fighting back. It's our fault for treating them like lower beings."

nathan’s a real one for this level of maturity/responsibility
He felt like the weight of the world was crashing down on him. He was the one who invited Vincent to join them, and now he was unable to save his friend. Tears streamed down his face as he realized the reality of the situation.

double check that it’s actually ok with the professor
Nathan let out a hearty chuckle. "Don't worry about your thesis, my family donates millions to the university every year. I already spoke to your professor, so we're good to go." He gestured towards the door.

I’m on chapter 5 of this novel, and I enjoy it. It reminds me of novels like “Gao Fushuai villain”, in that it’s the genre where a “villain” has to outwit the “protagonist”, including stealing the hearts of the wonderful female leads. This is an above-average, dare I say high-quality novel of this genre, because of the grammar, originality, voice, and humor. The grammar and rhetorical devices aren’t that of classical literature, but the author refrains from clichés and makes the reading experience more or less pleasant for those who care about less vs. fewer or its vs. it’s. The originality shows in the main character easily understanding what kind of trope they’re in, while the author still makes this novel beginner-friendly. The main character isn’t some edge-lord or naive person, but instead maintains consistent morals (as of chapter 5, the latest chapter). The motivations are meta, and the humor complements the originality. The author is hillarious. There are several fourth wall breaks. The author uses obscene language well, and there is no shortage of jokes. This is a novel you read for fun, but it’s also a novel that doesn’t hurt your head to read. I’m sad that the author doesn’t have hundreds of chapters in their novels yet. I hope that this review helps validate their writing hobby. — Sighted.
