The author ruined her favourite character. She changed her personality completely. The same personality that made lizzy everyone's favourite.

Imma be honest, the ending of the original novel disappointed me a little but the side stories made up for that. It's so satisfactory to know that the lunatic couple might soon break up😌 or even if they don't they ain't getting a happy ending

One of my favourite works so far. I loved the character development of the main characters. I do have some complaints about the ending as Edith didn’t receive the apology she deserved from cliff and the in-laws. But overall it was such a pleasant experience. The translation wasn’t spot on but it wasn’t even so bad that one wouldn’t understand what's going on. Author tried his/her best to update the chapters regularly which was definitely worth the appreciation. To anyone who's reading this now- "It's a must read. Give it a go;)"
I was a little disappointed when I saw that they didn’t tell the duchess about everything. She was the only one who showed little sympathy towards edith even before killian. Also the fact that lizz only confessed in front of edith and not the whole family also got me real mad. But I'm glad that she ended up with cliff in the end. They are both lunatics and well deserved for each other. About the duke being sorry I don’t think he reflected enough. Edith should have received a proper apology from him.

I did read it. But the fact that the former Duke and duchess didn’t apologise to Edith still remains. That will be my only complaint with this story
