Its only now that I notice the author has a habit of breaking character speech with what is essentially unnecessary narrations. It feels like an attempt to artificially increase the word count.
The chapter lacks soul. It's words, good words but, it is not storytelling
writing after chapter 15. it's a pretty good story so far. the mc's devil fruit feels like one with huge potential but his character feels very fake. it's like someone trying to be snarky and over the top but it just doesn't fit, to me specifically. Now I'll warn you, i use text to speech to listen to almost every novel I read. Again I might be wrong but I think the story is optimised with AI (emphasis on optimised, i didn't say written). This is because the writing style feels generic and i get this feeling from most fanfics I read lately. the stories just feel like there's no soul behind them, just words. I'm no author myself but as a reader/listener, this is what I've observed so far. It's a good story otherwise and quite engaging as well.
Just no. I respect the effort to be creative but that kind of ability should not exist in the demon Slayer world. If you look at the blood demon arts in demon Slayer, they all kinda make sense and of the supernatural type ones, none of them are this magical. That's my opinion anyway

That's not true though. imagine 2 people with the same stats fighting, one has good technique and the other has none, who wins? Obviously the one with technique. technique is simply a refinement of what's already there. with enough strength and speed, you can cut someone with a rod but with a blade you don't need as much power
