Su Nan didn't think much about it and maintained his pace, running forward. In his view, even if the two were indeed chasing someone, it had nothing to do with him.

I've read up to about 80 chapters in before thinking that I've seen enough. Basically, this book is just a ton of shite. We know next to nothing about the MC. From family, to the MC's current life, to the MC's past life, to the motivations and goals, all of this is either not explained very well or not explained period. The only thing that I can scrape together for a personality profile for the MC is that he only cares about pursuing Dao (no reasons or past experiences to justify this) and that he might(?) have some feelings towards his deskmate at school. There's nothing else we know about it him, which is mental. The golden finger is horrendously powerful, but it is wasted on a MC that has the intelligence of a sledgehammer. The golden finger gives him everything he needs (cultivation scriptures, pills, resources, etc) as long as he charges it with money. Let's put it this way, the MC could just sit in a hole for a hundred years, occasionally coming out to sell some random shite he could produce from the golden finger for more cash, and just cultivate until he becomes the strongest. Instead, the MC goes around travelling with beauties, entering inheritances realms and offending all kinds of young masters and their factions. What a load of bollocks! When you realise just how redundant the MC's journey is, the plot ends up feeling so forced and unnecessary. The MC has no urgent goals either so there's no need to risk his life. What a load of faff for nothing. There are other problems as well, such as there no world building (really), the plot points are so cliche and bog standard, mc's strength in fights is rather inconsistent to how powerful he should be, the translation is not great, and the characters are two dimensional cookie cutouts of either the evil villain archetype who will harm the MC because he's the MC, or the jade beauty archetype who will become the followers of the MC because he's the MC. All in all, this book is very poorly written. I would not recommend reading this book, though you could if you turned your brain off during it. Also, the book does seem to be going down the no romance route, given the one and only personality trait of the MC, but I've only read 80 chapters so I cannot confirm.
