The realism of your writing really improves the quality of this fic. I think this was a good chapter, just enough darkness without going into cringe or unrealistic territory. Overall keep up the good work, liking this fanfic more then the L one tbh
Strategically, I'm sure Light would do something like this, but I don't know; felt a bit messed up writing this, considering the amount of thought I put into these scenarios; as you can imagine, it is kinda messed up detailing in your mind step by step how to fuck someone up like this in a realistic and functional manner. I actually try to put myself in the mind of whatever character I'm writing and also think about things from the lens of the opposing character too. Usually, dark stuff doesn't bother me at all, but maybe because of all that, and the focus on catching Kei's emotions I sympathized with her and it did this time. Or maybe I'm just being soft.

I think some people may be upset class d and ayanokoji to a loss this quickly or easily but I think it's pretty realistic that this could happen in the original if someone had leaked the midterm exam.

I think so far it’s great, maybe it’s just personal bias but I think lights character fits better for a cote fanfic then L’s. Also since this isn’t a class d fanfic, it’s already more interesting then 99% of cote fics. I just wish the chapters were a bit longer
As promised the story is ramping up a bit now, let me know what you all think I can tell this story isn't as popular as the L one, which I kinda expected, but I just want to make sure there are a decent amount of people who enjoy the story.

Ah, I forgot Ichinose was one of those girls. The nice girls. From her perspective, I was some poor loser who would have to go the next 3 years without any friends, so she wanted me to incorporate into the class. But, from my perspective, she was just some person trying to impose stupid ideals onto me.

Nice story so far, definitely not the cliche Harry Potter fanfic. Author introduced nice OC’s and the MC is written well. Unlike most HP fic’s, the MC is generally a mentally stable guy who’s a little shameless when it comes to money but that only adds to his charm. Grammar is good too, hopefully there will be stable updates. If anything my only criticism would be that the pacing is a little slow (25 chapters in and it’s only beginning the first year). All in all though, great FF, looking forward to future updates
