and really, really pretty😂😂😂

He was probably just shocked at my appearance. Just like with the elves, the Maiar were said to be fair and beautiful beings, and I was one now, although I doubted this was Mairon's true form – shouldn't I have been taller then?

I don't really have an order planned aside from Narnia being the focus of the second book, but sure, the idea is smth like that. It's gonna be a while until I even reach the 2nd book, though.

"I think you're mistaking me for my half-brother, kid," Fred then said, running his fingers through his hair in contemplation, "and no, I do not have a twin named George. Although it would be more of a Georgina now that I think about it. Don't tell her I said that."

the human, modern perspective 😂😂😂

Speaking formally like this was a pain and a half, but it was unfortunately needed, or else they would all start regarding me with suspicion when I said something like 'hey guys, mind letting me through?' or 'I'm not going to go crazy and kill you all, so you can chill'.

exactly.

I didn't even have to think about it. I knew, rationally, that I had no body whatsoever now. I was literally some sort of ghostly spirit, and I shouldn't have been able to touch Elrond, let alone move him.

which is why he didn't lie, it would be idiotic of him😂😂😂

And I wasn't sure the Valar and Ilúvatar himself would even buy my story. The Valar I could still fool, maybe, but Ilúvatar was a literal god.

It's the forest in Narnia, actually. She never went through The Forest.

The woman simply looked at me and her eyebrows shot upwards. "You're telling me…you haven't found anything? Something…special? Are you sure you haven't visited any forest lately, Michael?" She asked me slowly, as if trying to make me understand a secret message that I was supposed to get somehow.

I could almost hear my heartbeat as we steadily went up, getting closer with each step to the room Lucy Pevensie had found, in another world, thanks to that fated game of hide-and-seek.

Power wise, yes. Physical aspect, not so much. Just the height, really.

Maybe this was a form I took as some sort of new being, similar to the Istari, who took the form of old men but were in reality Maiar, only I had Mairon's original body and face, but they were toned down like 75%.

and sometimes people try to swindle others, which is the case here.

"I am sure this lovely lady would not mind paying the 15 copper pieces that these are truly worth instead of the 30 you are demanding from her," I said softly, and the hobbit reluctantly accepted the fair payment, handing over the vegetables to the relieved woman.

they came after the War of the Last Alliance

Case in point, he had essentially brought thirteen people to Bilbo's house and expected him to join a quest that could potentially have him killed just because he thought it would be good for him. And he had ignored Bilbo's wishes – even if he was right in that Bilbo needed a little excitement in his life – of remaining behind instead of going on a crazy adventure to steal from a fire-breathing, deadly dragon that was half a world away from his home.

actually, Radagast is still around, and nobody knows what happened to the Blue Wizards.

Gandalf 'hmphed,' changing the subject. "I think he is a very great wizard, in his own way. He is a gentle soul who prefers the company of animals to others. He keeps a watchful eye over the vast forestlands to the East, and a good thing too, for always evil will look to find a foothold in this world."

Isildur still died, just not from the ring. The universe trying to right itself and all that.

Just for a moment, I wondered if destroying the Ring had been the right choice. Maybe it would have been better to wait. After all, Isildur dying and Smeagol finding the Ring wasn't exactly that terrible.

Morality is subjective, so no, not really

"And I hope that you never have to, Bilbo. But sometimes, there is no choice for us but to fight. But if you do, remember this: true courage is about knowing not when to take a life, but when to spare one."

I've always believed elves age slower than humans exactly because of their immortality (idk if it was explained in canon, though even if it was I'm sticking with this idea😂😂)

I shifted uncomfortably under their shocked exclamations about my age. Was it really that big of a deal? It's not like I matured like the elves, who were still like children at my age. Instead, I had lived as a human did, so I was already an adult in the eyes of the law. And I liked to think I was mature enough too.

actually there are several interpretations when it comes to the Multiverse. In the case of this story, Ea only englobes the lotr universe.

"Another world entirely, one that is not Eä," I stated, and carried on as they fixed their combined incredulous gazes on me, "though there must have been a connection between that world and this one for me to be here as I am. Otherwise, I cannot fathom why I would be Mairon. Honestly, I still do not…"

yeppp

Underneath the sweet notes from my flute, the sounds, and smells of Hobbiton faintly resonated within the Hall of Fire. I remembered Hamfast Gamgee, laughing with all the little hobbits while they played tag, their chase full of innocent laughter and childish joy.

actually, there's a reason for that but I don't want to make any spoilers

Fucking useful Maia I turned out to be. Frustration got the best of me, and I kicked the big-ass rock that stood in the way to let off some steam, only to gape when it went flying instead of staying in place like I had expected and smashed against the rock wall. Of course, I instantly doubled over in pain, clutching my right foot, and unleashed a string of expletives.

"I know this may seem like too much, Bilbo," I said softly, "but you really are worth this and so much more, and I value our friendship very much, more than any treasure in this earth and beyond it. You have helped me without any obligation whatsoever and you have treated me with kindness when you did not have to. You really do deserve this, Bilbo, and I truly hope, one day, you can see it too."
