This is a very interesting twist in the supernatural. Weaving a tale of light verses dark on the streets af the original Voodoo city of New Orleans. Thus far "I'm on chapter 20" the plot is intricate enough to keep the reader entranced in the action.The characters are rich and robust making the reader feel an instant connection as well as a desire to see what will happen to them next.

I think it should just be disorienting
The transition from warp to real space was smooth, and as the disorientating blur cleared, the sight that met their eyes was both awe-inspiring and intimidating. Dozens of massive ships hung in the void, their dark metallic exteriors gleaming in the distant starlight, forming an intricate dance of positioning and formation. Each bore the emblem of the Axiom Enclave, a symbol new to many aboard the Olympus.
