Ngl, I know I'm late to suggest this, but I love the idea of MC befriending Naruto with an exchange something like this: "I heard what people say about you... They call you a monster, and... I'm a monster too. Us monsters have to stick together." (Cause MC was a lab rat for Orochimaru, thus "reasonable" to see himself as a "monster.")
His eyes were distrusting, and he held the bags closer as if he feared that I'd steal them from him. I know that people never went as far as to physically hurt him, but for a child as young as him, mental trauma could be just as damaging.

There was at least one flashback to a Leaf Concentration lesson during Naruto's years in the academy in the anime. Not sure if it appeared in the manga, but considering it's something small and easily skippable (for the sake of pacing) I'd say it's canon personally.
My class learning it is probably a remnant of the war efforts taken by the Academy, something not entirely necessary but helpful for students who are being thrown into war after graduating; it must've been phased out sometime between Naruto's generation and mine.

Honestly, would've preferred hearing what MC asked Jinebei to create this "deal" or what the deal even is. (It's very safe to assume that this game of "Hunted" was part of the deal, but the actual context of the deal is sadly left out. Was MC setting up a, "here's why I don't make friends" scenario? Did they try to get a Jutsu out of the teacher in exchange for trying to make friends? Was it a promise to "try" and make friends if Jinebei stops bothering MC? ...This is why I'd rather just hear that conversation rather than skip it.)

Getting help from the frogs or the snakes isn't the only way to get Sage Mode. We don't even know how Hashirama got SM. With enough effort, you could probably do it yourself. Tsunade probably knows how, or at very least, has connections to help MC learn.

I always get annoyed by these kinds of requests. There should always be a clarification to ask if you can reveal the fact that you're hiding information. (Rather than being forced to dodge every other question, MC could say, "I'm not allowed to say" to most questions... Assuming the agreement even allows him to say that.)

Wait if MC is going to do a reset to get another 2 Jutsu... Shouldn't he try asking for Chakra Nature Jutsu his "alternate persona" would use? Since this first "loop" is going to get deleted anyway. MC has been holding back on developing those other chakra natures until he can fully hide himself with Fuinjutsu, but if he's time traveling, why bother?

If you stuck with 10 instead of 50, I would've added a clarification of being 10x the average for their clan / bloodline of choice. (Because 10x average civilian or "global average" is still small.) Even a dog water clan like the Inuzuka Clan have significantly more Chakra than your average civilian. (Pun intended. Also as someone who started reading after the 50x change, I'm fine with it.)

As pointed out by others, physical training can be worthless when exploiting the save point. MC's body doesn't go back in time. If they wanted to really min-max, during the "first week" they would do any and all non-physical training. Go back in time, and do the "repeat week" as primarily physical training. (Honestly, a quick chapter edit to point this out would be real nice.)
He started his day with physical training, as always.

I'm liking this, but I really wish Sasuke and Hinata actually talked more. Seems Hinata currently is crushing on Sasuke (so it's too late to go, "Ya know, I hear Naruto likes kind and confident girls.") But it'd be nice to at least offer to help with "clan stuff" even if it might blow his cover a little. Could "plant" the idea in Hinata's eye that going against her clan in the future. (Possibly trade an eye with each other in the future?) ...Or talk with Naruto more. Mumble a, "I'm proud of you" and pretend you never said it, or set up scenarios of Naruto finding money on the ground.
"I see…" mumbled Sasuke, unsure of how to continue. If it's something related to the Hyuga Clan, he really cannot interfere and has no say in the subject as those are internal clan matters.

Ironically this would be a much easier task with Byakugan. Or even the dreaded, and criminally under-utilized: 1 Sharingan 1 Byakugan combo. (Seriously, the learning speed potential would be NUTS. Converting Ninjutsu into raw Ninshu could become childsplay.)

According to author comments, pre-Isekai MC was 16. (I assumed MC was older tbh.) Either way, very easy typo to fix, but the author just likes comments instead...
Maybe I am drugged, I can't remember anything. Man, I shouldn't do those cheap drugs. Maybe once I'm 18+ but at 14 this might be a little too much.

Lore has been pretty on point so far, but I feel the need to mention that Shin's kids are all clones, and all have the same MS pattern of the original Shin. How Shin was able to be modified to "naturally" have clones with Sharingan is unknown, buuuut it's easy to say that all the extra Sharingan implanted in Shin are clones, not stolen Sharingan. (Danzo's arm full of Sharingan is Shin's original arm, and definitely all stolen Sharingan however. Oh and the back-up Sharingan that Obito had, would have been the ones stolen from Root's stash after Danzo died.)
"Considering the number of Sharingan that Shin had implanted in his body, as well as the body of his children/clones along with the Sharingan that Shimura Danzō had implanted in his arm and the Sharingan that Uchiha Obito kept with him, perhaps all the people with the three-tomoe Sharingan had their eyes removed," mumbled Sasuke as he clenched his fists in anger.

Option 2: Shikamaru is manually activating each trap. He realizes, "Orochimaru is in section 34B" and detonates the corresponding tags. He's not predicting where Orochimaru will go during or after the blast, he just has that many traps, and can set them off when Orochimaru is actually there.
He is even surprised that all of his calculations work out, it is like all of his blind shots hit the jackpot. Only now does he realize just how scary Shikamaru could have been in anime if only he was really motivated to do something.
