I see, alright. It wasn't explained much what kind of people cultivators are in this book so when I saw the raven guy earlier, I assumed it was the same. Anyway thanks, I like this story because you don't see taboo relationships that much, and from the other comments I've seen, you seem to have... such preference in that regard so I'm looking forward to the future chapters.
"You will find it hard to believe, but in a statistic I once read, it is said that more than 40% of high-level cultivators die due to suicide. They just couldn't accept the pain of all the memories and losses."

Isn't the power of cultivators more often than not based on willpower? In that case, those high level ones must have powerful mental strength that a mere memory like that wouldn't affect them that much. In novels I've seen, cultivators are also usually subjected to "spiritual" stuff when they obtain powers, breakthrough, connect their souls to something, etc. and that spiritual stuff are all done mentally. So this is too high, heck even suicide sounds ridiculous enough.

Owen is an awesome guy this time. Thinking about it, wasn't he the one who got hanged on the Eiffel tower at the magic world novel?
He was just watching them with a faint smile.
