Within the densely packed ranks, there was scarcely any room to maneuver. The soldiers found themselves pressed tightly against one another, their bodies interlocked, making even the passage of a mere gust of air an arduous task. The relentless pressure created an atmosphere that felt suffocating, exacerbating the already palpable tension between the two opposing armies. A handful of Taran troops attempted to mount an attack from above, resorting to scaling over their fellow soldiers, yet by the time they drew near, they found themselves impaled upon the menacing spears of their adversaries.
