The book is developing rather well in my opinion

"A robbery in the middle of Ameyoko? That's ridiculous." Shizuka calmly assessed the situation even though they were being held at gunpoint.

You forgot Megumi ,didn't you

"AH!" Hajime screamed out of the blue. Of course, how could he forget about that? After all, that's the reason why he was even on the school trip, to begin with.

Such as the rough world we live in

"Still, what happened to you? Were you bullied, by any chance?" With his arms clasped tightly together while his brows were furrowed, Officer Hideki eyed Hajime with a concerned gaze. In himself, he couldn't believe that such a fine young man had to experience the harshness of the world. Seeing Hajime's injury felt like a wake-up call to him, stressing out the fact that it could happen to anyone. And today, Hajime just so happened to be the unlucky one.

The kid who always points out the obvious

"Mom, that girl is weird." A child commented after seeing her smile without a reason.

[From: Rie To: Fuuka Message: Can you check up on Hajime later? Thanks, I'll be home late.]

I also thought that she was in her 4th year

Fuuka Akamine, Rie Akamine-sensei's younger sister, was lazily rolling around the floor of Akamine-sensei's apartment. Her transfer to Dai Yama High School as a first-year high school student was still being processed by her guardian and her teacher which is none other than Akamine-sensei. She'll be coming to school next term, and until then, she had time to laze around and relax.

I don't know how to feel about you

With a sigh, she stared at the bento and proceeded to go back to their classroom. It had been three days since she last saw Hajime, and right now, she was tempted to visit his place after class. If he was sick, then she'd take care of him, obviously.

At least you have a teacher who notices you ,mine doesn't even know my name

"I know you haven't been eating that much lately. And you've gotten thin over the past month." Akamine-sensei pointed out, twirling her fingers around and causing Hajime to gulp after he was just told the truth.

Like teacher like student

The living room was cluttered with heaps of dirty clothes, cups of cupped noodles littered the tables, and the sink, filled with unwashed dishes. The apartment may be new and it had only been a few months since Akamine-sensei started residing here, but right now, it might as well be abandoned, or at the very least someone who couldn't care less about cleaning lived here, marking its territory with the uncleanness that abounded within.

. .. Basically stalking

Balancing the reflective sunglasses on her nose bridge, Megumi cautiously slinked through the rows of seats that filled the cinema. She managed to snag a VIP ticket for the showing of the film they were watching, all thanks to Franz's hard work. The ticket was just like any other ticket, except Megumi could take a seat anywhere and the management wouldn't mind it at all. Megumi had no idea how Franz got such a perk by buying a single VIP ticket but she wasn't about to question his ways. Right now, she's got all the power she needed to stalk, er, to follow Hajime and watch over him like a hawk.

Jealously will kill you

With a skip in her steps, Natsumi headed out of the classroom while waving gaily at Hajime. Her smile couldn't be more obvious and somehow it got straight through Megumi's nerves. She couldn't tell why she felt that way, however, but somehow she felt slightly irritated towards her.

Also the wrong timing, HUH

While Megumi was trying to perfect her way of asking Hajime out, Natsumi burst into their classroom out of nowhere, straightforwardly walking toward Hajime without averting her gaze from him. A warm smile appeared on her face as her eyes sparkled. "Um, Hajime, are you free this afternoon, by any chance?" She questioned, her eyes laser-focused on Hajime since that would increase her chances of getting a 'yes'

Yeah ,we know that it's gonna end up being a date

"Hajime, are you going to do something tonight, I'm fr— no, that sounds way too casual. How do I even invite him? How did I even invite him before? Ah, right, I sort of threatened him back then... I wonder how he thought about that event. Do I bother him?" Megumi started voicing out what she was going to say when she invites Hajime for another dinner at his place. Since she couldn't really find the right answer she was looking for about her weird feeling, she decided not to think about it. The reason why she was especially conscious of Hajime was that this was her first experience at making a friend— or so that's what she assumed the reason was behind her weird notion. She continued practicing what she was going to tell Hajime. Still, she couldn't find the right timing nor muster the courage to actually invite him out. Her mind kept repeating the word 'date' in her mind and she wanted to pull her hair out in frustration.

True

There's food in front of him though, so what could he do but eat to his hearts' content? He didn't even notice the somewhat jealous stares of his classmates as they eyed the tonkatsu's, mixed veggies, egg rolls, and the onigiri's that filled his bento to the brim. That was the power of food— you don't see anyone around you when you're hungry, just the food.

Food is food, just accept the chance to eat

Unbeknownst to Megumi, Hajime looked in her general direction, catching her briefly smile when he ate from her bento. 'What the—' Hajime couldn't help but think. Regardless, that didn't stop him from eating. All the construction work he did this morning made him famished. He began to dread the fact that his body might get used to eating a lot and that would mess with his unhealthy eating schedule.

Wrong timing

"I should be the one thanking you," She gently said before turning around and shyly heading back to her classroom. Unbeknownst to Megumi, Natsumi was also waiting for Hajime to come to school. And just like Megumi, she was also aware that Hajime comes to school in the afternoon. She had been watching him for quite some time though, and today was the day when she managed to muster all her courage to return the favor.

"Here, I cooked you lunch!" She amicably offered, handing Hajime a large-sized bento box.
