ahhh one of the biggest problems of leftist ideology is taking place before our very eyes. now the official policy that is touted in the media and politicians is that you should include different ethnic groups HOWEVER, they also don't want u to use someone else's culture either so u have moments like this where dude wants to be inclusive but also knows if he gets anything wrong he will yelled at. the best way i can think of it is think of the difference between getting a concealed carry permit as a private citizen in california compared to being a police officer getting a concealed carry permit. when u think of it as a government agency that is trying to keep most weapons with them i absolutely see them giving private guilds s hard time basically making it where only the rich could have the resources and time to start and join guilds thus keeping the poor disenfranchised. i mean its the government guilds treating porters like scum and even making the weakesy of super powered beings reliant on government to keep power in check. its why mc has power but is powerless at same time.
But the process would take forever. For starters he'll have to fill up the application form, then he'll be given a number and then he'll have to wait for the guild to reach out to him which could take weeks, if not months. And it wasn't over yet. After being called he'll have to qualify at least 29 out of the 38 test that would be conducted for over a period of an year, only then he'd be able to be a part of the guild. This was the main reason why he didn't want to leave his guild right now, because he didn't have the necessary funds to carry on Nicole's treatment during this period of time.
