well, something i think of why the SCP universe is that the entities are really close to the unknown , imagine the entire universe depends on the tiny movement of these entities just for it to get destroyed and remade again. and they can make it seem like a reaction like no cause, no effect ,no reason , no what and why's..... just happens.
