Doesn't matter what his intentions are, if he takes away the free will of the planet, even if they were to all just kills themselves like animals otherwise, then he has no right in judging the traffickers or anyone else either. So, yeah he is a hypocrite.
As for the other targets, well, that was a bit more complicated. When it came to human traffickers, my policy basically came down to immediate execution. I still found it appalling that there are more people now, still in slavery, than at any point in history, even if proportionally it was less.
