Okay for those who are intelligent enough to know the "reality" when you get to another world without prior warning, system, and knowledge. then you will know why the "start" is slow paced specially in this world full of horror. I mean you literally need to start from a scratch without knowing anything and you need to be cautious and careful bro. one wrong move and boom you die without knowing the reason. also I really like the characters because they have "character" within them. they really think and not stupid and everything in this world has "reasonable" development and not forced. this world is full of horror and unknown that's why even high level beings are careful enough. because in this world power comes with a price. also from other novels perspective mc has slow growth but in the standard of LOM world. he literally speed run it. also regarding the cheat he have. It is not OP like system or sage like that. he deciphers it and make it his own throughout the series and lastly the thousand years old characters really like act that they lived a thousand years old mentality, spiritually, and physically not like some webnovels who have that but acting like a goofyass madafakah
