I kinda feel like Cliff doesn't deserve to be freed from Lizzy like that. He should have been stripped of his noble title along with Lizzie, since he was dumb enough to sign this ridiculous contract with her. It was a stupid decision, not worthy of a future duke. But in this case, Killian would have to become the heir instead of Cliff and return to the capital. So that's fine with me.. I just hope he learns from his mistakes.
"But because i spared her life which she doesn't deserved it, I will strip Lizzy Ludwig from her noble title, and order her to serve in a monastery for the rest of her life, to repent of her sins. Her marriage to Cliff Ludwig was also annulled at this time."

Poor boy... Looks like he remembered something once the original story was destroyed Perhaps he was surprised that no one knew about the missing nephew of the emperor, and thought that they had forgotten about him
"No. They won't wanted to see me. So it's okay."

So, apparently, after Edith fulfilled the condition of the third stage, the boy was also freed from the flow of the original and, being quite smart, escaped on his own.
The last episode of the story which i had forgotten for a while, came to mind. However, since the power of the original story has been destroyed, it is impossible the story would continue like it was. I became more convinced about it when heard the story about Lizzy meeting the crown prince from Linan. In the original, Lizzy's status changes after the Crown Prince meets her and introduces her to his allies.

Finally! Although it gives me satisfaction to watch Lizzy's downfall I miss Edith and Killian very much
Killian and Edith plan to come to the capital with their son on the day of the national foundation celebration. Therefore, before they arrive she has to regain her position as the main character.

You'd better go quietly and live the rest of your life being grateful to Edith. Don't you dare blame her for your current situation, it's all your own fault. Why do I get the feeling that she's going to try to get back at Edith one last time?
However, despite the news that her life had been spared, Lizzy felt despair. It was clear that she met a fitting end for a villain.
I thought it was common possession [side story]
