As someone who has experience with tabletops and media that involves battles of wits, I must say this is one of my favourite chapters so far. The entire concept of "Magic and Tomfoolery" is really interesting, so much so that I'd give it a try and play this with my friends, provided with the rules mentioned here. Awesome work!

I'm absolutely flabbergasted, what a way to start off the new year! Though my comment is a couple days late for the celebration, this chapter is certainly not. This felt like a way lengthier chapter but in all the right places. From the ceremony to the final battle, the pacing felt steady and the narrative was plentiful. It seems like it is time for a new legacy, both for the Kawn family and the writer himself :D

Holy moly, what a chapter! The wait was definitely worth it, given that this chapter feels longer than the other recent ones, and although it may seem like it doesn't add much in the main story, some additional context behind the development of the foundations behind the Kawn family is welcome, especially when written like this! Keep it up! :D
