The only real complaint I have about this story is that we didn't get an infinite flow of Mo Di And Mu Tian Heng going through multiple worlds, finding each other, and falling in love again and again. Everything else I'm willing to forgive as plot devices. A lot of it is very stupid, but it was written that way intentionally. The suitors of the usurper had their IQ and personalities forcibly lowered and subsumed by the system halo, so of course their actions aren't as slick and clever as they should be. The plot halo is incredibly strong in this one and it takes a lot of effort to break someone free who had been subjected to it for so long. It all tracks, so I'm willing to accept the idiocy on the premise.
"My little one, don't be scared. You'll never have to be scared."

They could switch. It's not a very popular archetype for this kind of romance novel, which is a bit of a shame.
Poor Uncle Song, it must not be easy when your gong is a silly Tibetan Mastiff.

This, in particular, is why I want her to die horribly.
On the other hand, Mo Di was the total opposite. His life was filled with misery. But Mo Liu Gui believed that he deserved it. His homosexuality was wrong and his bad life was atonement.

Resentment? Really? Her family has ruined themselves trying to insulate her, to avenge her, to ensure her happiness and she has the gall to resent them? Wow her brain is broken in a particularly special way.
Mo Liu Gui thought that Mo Er Qian was going to abandon her. Her eyes turned red and she raised her head to look at him in disbelief and also a hidden hint of resentment.

Mo Liu Gui really is an idiot of astronomic proportions because of how much she tries to resist being labeled a mental patient. Like, it gets you out of a 5 year prison sentence and you have wealthy backers, why would you resist it? Obviously the institution she'll go to isn't the one her family and backers had planned for her. Oh no, that would be far too generous. I'm betting the elder Qin would even be thrilled to assist Mu in throwing her to the winds to never be seen or heard from again. His son can rot in prison where he can't threaten the Qin family's interests anymore. Life could be good that way.
"That's not possible," Mo Er Qian looked at Qin Cheng Yi with a hidden resentment, "Of course I'll take good care of Xiao Gui. But being labelled a mental patient, what if she can't accept it? Qin Cheng Yi, have you even thought of this aspect!?"

That's not how encryption works. The easiest way to make something unable to be deleted on an Android phone is to simply place it in a file system outside of the standard Android OS partition, since that is what gets targeted for reformatting when a factory reset process is initiated. There are also some flags you can set to make files unreadable, uneditable, hidden, etc. but they generally aren't able to resist a super user command or root command to delete or reformat them. Conveniently, though, most reformatting functions don't actually over-write files, so even if they are deleted during the process, the information is still there, but the location in the file register is overwritten, so you'll have to scan the entire drive and create a new one based on the returned data before it can be read by the operating system. TL;DR: encryption does not make files inherently more difficult to delete. It can make them harder to open, but not to delete. Particularly if the delete command is given with the highest system administrator privileges (as is typically the case for factory reset commands).
"The person who took this phone must've formatted the phone to wipe the memory but this file had powerful encryption so it could not be touched. I have to say, little Mo Di's programming skill is quite top-notch. It took the group of them thirty minutes to crack so it would have been impossible for some average joe to access it." Lai De Si said with a smile.

If it's sweet then it isn't champagne. Champagne is notoriously dry and often a bit acidic. All of the remaining sugar content is used up in secondary fermentation to provide the bubbles, so if it's still sweet then there's something wrong. Most likely it's just a sparkling wine where the bubbles are infused artificially. Those can be quite sweet since there's usually some remaining sugar content left over from the primary fermentation. Particularly if the grape used is muscat.
Mo Di took a small sip and blinked with satisfaction, "It's sweet."

He is 100% spot on. Song Yu feels kind of burned by his previous relationship and wants to make sure that the next one can stand the test of time, since he's not interested in a fling. Knowing that this awkward golden retriever of a man has been sincerely in love with him for nearly a decade goes a long way to warming his cold heart.
Mo Di snickered softly but seeing how Lai De Si was beating himself up, he decided to comfort him, "Brother Lai De Si, I don't think it was that bad. When Uncle Song knows that you had feelings for him way before you two met, he would look back at this moment and think that you're cute. After all, one would only behave like that if they faced someone they like."

The love Chen Zhao has for his little uncle is so endearing. Positive familial love is so underrated in these novels. It's so rare to have characters who legitimately like their family members. It's really cute how protective he is of his little uncle, despite the fact that his little uncle is more than capable of fending for himself.
"Great! Let's go let's go!" Chen Zhao cheered and pushed Song Yu into the car then hurried to the passenger seat.

I would 110% refuse to go anywhere with that kind of evasive answering. Either tell me who I'm meeting or I'm not leaving. Particularly when all of his paranoia turns out to be accurate and true.
"You'll know once you get to the conference room. This person's identity is incredible and he has a good temper too. You don't have to worry about anything," The staff explained attentively, "But he likes to keep a low profile and rarely appears publicly. Captain Mo, please do not make things difficult for me. You'll know who he is once you see him. Let's go."

I almost feel bad for them. Even if he were so intoxicated, the poor little innocent Mo Di is a pure bottom with zero experience. The most that could happen is groping and kissing. Definitely not the effect they're looking for.

His fate is quite pitiable even so. Like, he absolutely deserves it, but oof.
"Yes, yes, of course. Young master is most filial." Uncle Zhang praised Ye Cheng Feng endlessly. "In this age, filial piety is rare in the younger generation. Just take a look at Mo Di, he willingly broke ties with his family. You can tell at a glance he's a poisonous one. An ungrateful white-eyed wolf."

He's living with one of the richest men on the planet and they have a good relationship, of course he's living well. But that's not her intent at all. Her intent is to ensure that he is ruined because only in this way can she continue to reap his fate value and profit from her halo.
Mo Liu Gui hid her emotions and said: "Maybe you'll get to meet Xiao Di. I heard that he also took part in this competition and his game is very well received. That's just great. If you see him, can you help me check if he's been living well?"

It's quite true, too. As long as the two parties are consenting adults before they really undertake the relationship then there's no need for me or anyone else to butt in and be nosy. Just admire that people in love are extra adorable and move on with your life.
When two people are in love, it is no one else's business but their own.

I'd probably have kidnapped her, made several transfers in areas without camera surveillance, and then made her disappear on a permanent basis to reduce risk. Without her halo to stir up the Mo family, things would be so much easier.
It was probably a mistake to stop and listen to her. He felt a heartache thinking of how his little friend had to face these countless explanations and veiled remarks from Mo Liu Gui living in the Mo family for over ten years.

He's quite self-aware. This is good.
Something in his heart was stirring. He doubted it was just simply because he did not want to be alone….there were other feelings in the mix.

Infinite flow games, particularly if they are targeting a multiple plot, rogue-like genre, aren't necessarily more or less difficult to make. The main problem is that they're extraordinarily tedious because you need to make a LOT more assets, you need to write a LOT more plot outlines and dialogue, and the achievement pathing is more convoluted. Overall, though, the code itself isn't much different and you can do 95% of the development within an existing game engine, just need to create a plugin to handle the new character spawn and setting/plot insertion after the original character death. It's more like a marathon development process that eats funds like water flowing through a sieve. But, if implemented well, it can be a really intriguing game mode.
Pang Qiang Lang: There are so many identities to choose from. I played a very popular infinite flow game before but there are a lot less playable characters. And the plots are mostly fixed. Even playing with another character, the outcome did not change much. But your game, Xiao Di…. each role has great autonomy and the flow of the plot will deviate through multiple possibilities. I think this will take a lot of thinking and effort to write the program. Several times more advanced than our previous game.

Oh, it's honestly a shame that Song Yu didn't kick him a lot harder. Might as well turn him into a eunuch so he doesn't wrong other good families.
"Dad, I've changed. I've really changed!" seeing Mo Liu Gui's wink, Mo San Zhi got the cue and quickly expressed his regret and grievances: "Dad, I know that I was wrong but now I've gotten over it. At that time I was seduced by Song Yu. He made me like him. You don't know this but he's really good at seducing someone."

It gets resolved. Also, while Mo Di may not be as deeply infatuated as he shows, he really does like MTH way more than he realizes at this point. He's also already made the agreement with himself that even if he ends up unable to properly fall in love with MTH, he'll do anything to compensate. MTH will hold him to this later, but not necessarily how he expects.
That's right, Mu Tian Heng did not know that he had once again witnessed a stage play.

The translation is readable, but there are instances where the text within the chapters is not in order or has been repeated multiple times, causing some confusion. If you are impatient and want to MTL to read ahead, the raw title you can search for is 穿回蛮荒当神棍 In general, this is a good read with a lot of city-building, general cultivation lore, and interpersonal conflicts. Just be prepared for your brain to ache from the fact that so many people within any given village will have the same family name. Or, at least it reads that way once phonetically transliterated into English. Might be different characters entirely in Chinese, I don't know, but there's at least five different Yu families in the Yu village alone. Can prove challenging to keep track of which family is which.
