Thinking of all the powers I could get, various games and characters passed through my mind. The first of them was Aether magic from that small story I've read, 'In the Skies'. Where the main character had unique magic that could heal him, and grant him power boosts and powerful attacks.

Relieved of such fate I smiled, the first time I smiled in a long time. I took a deep breath of fresh air and laid down the soft green grass. The calm wind refreshed me, making any worries disappear.

As I grew I noticed less and less greenish color, instead gray and gloomy color replaced the once cheerful sky. Looking around I couldn't see anyone else besides me, thoughts of an eternal void seemed to be false and that made me happy, knowing that I won't spend the rest of eternity inside darkness.

Normal novel, but to be honest the first chapter leaves a lot to be desired since it is practically a wish fulfillment. I don't see the reason for making the first chapter, everything will turn out as it suits this story, much to be desired but I wish you the best.
