after reading over 200 chapters, it's disappointing. it's supposed to be a dungeon lord type book, but after the first few chapters, it completely abandons the concept. it states him always going out is to build his territory better, but while he's out he can't manage his territory, and when he does eventually go back it highlights nothing about his territory or its changes. the title should change to "a guy doing a ton of random sidequests"

The plot is..... okay I guess? Honestly that's the best way I can describe it. Chapters are short and most of it is filled with nonsense and peanut gallery filler so that nothing ever really happens. The MC has 5 wives early, and every single one of them has input on every sentence the MC says or does. So a chapter usually just reads as: MC: let's do this Wife 1: yeah let's do it Wife 2: sure anything you want Wife 3: I always wanted to do that Wife 4: I can't wait Wife 5: I'll grab the snacks And that repeats in the chapter for literally every sentence or action. Run into an antagonist? Not only do the wives all talk, so do the bad guys, and so does everyone who sees it. I had to drop it because 10 chapters worth of content was spread to 100 chapters due to all the filler.

This isn't it. The main points of this story are simply grotesque. Here's a review stopping a ch 177 because I can't go further 1. The MC is a straight up simp in the worst possible way. He has zero pride, he lets every woman simply step on him. They look down on him like he's the world's biggest trash and he just keeps doing everything for them in secret and let's himself be stepped on like a dog. 2. The "cultivation " in this has zero definition. He has no cultivation technique or skills. Literally, 177 chapters in, the man doesn't have a single skill. A reward from a quest gave him some items like a flying sword, but it is limited to 3 uses ever. Outside of a single time of dual cultivation where he breaks through early it never mentions him gaining strength again. 3. The first female introduced is the succubus that devoted her life to MC, then she's essentially ignored for over 100 chapters while he simps on women who despise him.+ 4. The system basically doesn't exist. It will pop up with random quests and give rewards. There's no explanation of the features or capabilities whatsoever until it is randomly thrown in when needed. MC starts in a forest but he is wearing modern clothes and eating beef Jerry, so you can assume it came from the system, bit who knows it isnt said. Later he wants to do alchemy so the system does it automatically, not explained past that. The smut scenes aren't that bad at all, pretty good actually, but that is literally the only redeeming this about the novel.
