The captain was gone. Only a smashed Starfleet communicator lay on the ground.

Beams of energy from the players' weapons pewed and fired. Anzyl finally understood how his weapon now functions and works, not even thinking. Just simply seeing a target and wanting it gone prompted one of the nouliths to fire. Seeing four separate targets prompted all four beams to fire separately. Faster and faster, Anzyl's score rose and rose, his quartet of nouliths spinning, twisting, turning, and firing their beam energy payloads, until suddenly.

Captain's a Sage! Freaking sweet!

img

Anzyl senses the four pieces of metal on his back and focuses on activating them, desiring them to be active and armed. As he thinks this, the four nouliths turn on, float off his back, and swiftly form a quadrilateral pattern around him—two on his right, two on his left, two at his chest, and two above his head. He assumes his starting San Ti Shi stance from his Xing Yi Quan style.

FFXIV Sage's Nouliths in Star Trek! It doesn't make sense in a JRPG, but in Star Trek, mind controlled phasers!? What? Why was this not a thing yet?!

img

After some tweaking and modifications with the newly named Nouliths per the captain's request, Anzyl stood with the four floating sleek and slender guns. Two on his right, two on his left. Two at his chest, and two above his head.

So THAT'S how they came up with the name Nouliths! I LOVE Sage on 14!

img

"Stop!" Anzyl halted the computer, pondering, "Noos - lithos. Noosliths." the captain brainstormed, "Nouliths, Ohh I like that! Nouliths! We'll call them Nouliths!"

"Yeah.. sure.. and…um" Anzyl continued. "Captain, for your own validity and hope of winning this case, let me do the talking and, please take this with the greatest possible respect, but Zip Your Howling Screamer." Kayuli glared.

"No, not really," Anzyl pouted. "With my luck, I'll get a Cardassian as an attorney, and the entire galaxy knows they are the WORST defense attorneys."

"And what happens to these 1,784 victims after they have been committed to space, who knows. Not to mention the thousands of Fek'ihri bodies we also have to remove." The captain shrugged, "Also, have you had a chance to meet Heluna yet? She is a fantastic communications officer." Patting his shoulder and walking away.

Often wonder how much e.otipnal toll is taken from Star Trek Captain's and their Red Shirts.

img

His heart raced, and pain throbbed within him. Collapsing onto his couch, Anzyl gazed at his reflection on the main display console. He was a disheveled mess, with ragged hair and a torn uniform. The events of the day had caught up with him, and he bent down, dropping his face into his hands, allowing the tears to flow freely. The captain wept bitterly, the emotional toll of the day's tragedy unrelenting.

"YES!!!!" echoed the entire crew of both ships. Cheers, hugs, and exclamations resonated among the surviving crew. Not a single person, not even the usually reserved Vulcans, held back their praise and gratitude for the victorious battle.

I freaking LOVE Defiant the class! and it's docked in the frikkin shuttle bay!

img

Suspended about three stories above the ground was the USS Alliant, a Defiant-class starship. Despite its compact size, allowing it to be stored in the main docking bay of the Nexus, with only three decks and spanning a few hundred meters in length and width, and a crew of 40, the Defiant-class starships were purpose-built for one thing: War. Originally designed to combat the Borg Collective and playing a pivotal role in the Dominion War, this small vessel served the Nexus more as a sword and javelin rather than a typical shuttlecraft.

Then it hit Anzyl, "So if we can't shake it off, we just need a giant… flyswatter." Smiling ear to ear, tapping his combadge, "Captain to Alliant Crew, report to the main docking bay; we leave in 5."

img

A few feet back stood Veirik, his rifle sizzled and smoked. He was in full special ops gear and armor, armed to the teeth with every sort of blade, pistol, and survival tool he owned. A sight that would strike fear into any foe, but to Anzyl, he might as well have been an angel of radiant light. "Veirik to the Bridge, I got him."

Only way I can describe this Dr.

img

He moved through the energy walls effortlessly, declaring in a single tone, "I Am Borg." The medical devices on his hand transformed into saw blades and scalpels, "Resistance is Futile." Gripping one Fek'ihri by the neck, he sliced its head clean off. "Computer, activate Emergency Security Holograms and position them around sick bay," he commanded, crushing another Fek'ihri's windpipe with a single hand. Identical holographic starfleet security officers in red uniforms materialized around Sick Bay in defensive postures.

He dusted his creation with a snowfall of fine powdered sugar, and gazed at his single serving of Almond Croissant, and grinned the same way he always did when his creation was "Just perfection." He softly spoke to himself.

I would so be this captain's "Episode Fling" in a heart beat! He sounds dreamy and my kind of talented!

img

After indulging in his piece of pastry heaven, he sat on the end of his bed. He didn't realize how tired he was until he sat down. Such a long and eventful day, mentally exhausted, feet ached from endless walking. He took off his apron and sugar covered undershirt, chucking them into resequencer, laying down in his slacks, and immediately passed out.

A massive Tulkun whale, about 10 meters (30 feet) in length, large V shaped cranial crests, 3 meter (9 feet) long flippers, and four finned tail, "Greeting's captain, I am Kayuli," the intercom translated his whale squeaks in the voice of a young man in his 20's, "My Bond Brother informed me that you were touring the ship," spoke over the intercom, "I hope he didn't embarrass you or himself. He's not the best around strangers. He may not say it out loud, but I can tell he misses our homeworld more than he leads on. I know I sure do."
