Hmm...
It could be understood why the old man was grumpy. He was a high Tier 1 Master yet couldn't understand a technology even with a complete blueprint. That was quite shameful to be honest.

Nice writing style. I feel it should have potential
It was at this moment that Lucas suddenly realised that he had made a blunder.

I'm not sure if the first comment clarified well, so I'll try better now. Yes, the system provides Lucas with the suitable materials he needs for his current level. But Lucas loves to research and experiment with various resources and materials. Unfortunately, the system doesn't give him everything he wants; he still needs to get some himself (like the Aión Source in chapter 330). Also, as Lucas improves his vestige-smithing level, the materials he would require to produce higher vestiges will have to be sourced himself. This is because the system is limited to the quality of materials it can give him.
While some of them were really valuable in Eretre —like the Purple Iridium metal— the true valuable metals and some other rare materials would have to be sourced by Lucas himself. As such, this partnership was quite helpful for Lucas as it would help him connect to the Kopen Trading Services and buy materials from them at a cheaper price. He could even commission the Blue Fenrir Group to find source more exotic items.

Glad you noticed, but I did clarify that here though. The system only provides a certain grade of materials and charges Lucas the "system tax" for it. It doesn't give him all kinds of materials but just a few that are still useful and valuable. These materials were suitable for Lucas' standards before, but that didn't stop him from looking for other materials the system didn't provide (if you recall, during Lucas' adventures, he usually ended up picking a few materials). As Lucas' ability improves, the materials from the system would be less useful and the systems's tax rate would also drop. There's no conflict here.

Lmaoo. I guess so
😂😂
Every hyuman was born with a different concentration of the mDNA in their body and the more one had, the higher their future prospects would be and the greater their talent. Due to the extinction of pure-blooded humans and some other factors, an mDNA concentration less than 10% couldn't qualify as a hyuman and would be called a human. At less than 10%, one had almost no future in stellar refinement as such, there was no reason to see them as hyumans.

True but some people easily get confused by it. Not everyone cares about the details sadly.
Lucas sighed and felt grateful that his memory was impressive as he could recall his high school biology lessons, otherwise he would be confused by the terms used by the system, just like the readers and the author a few minutes ago.
