Yeah, I strongly agree. This novel is one of the good ones on this site, but not many people are appreciating it. The writing in the first few chapters isn't great, and the trial arc is a bit slow, but everything else is peak. Axel and Sophia are goated characters.
In which chapter does the trial for his path end?
MC doesn't care about the greater good or anything like that.

I get what you're saying. Sometime love makes people blind, and I 100% agree. I feel the same way. But I also believe there are reasons behind falling in love. I’m just the kind of person who thinks it can’t be born or survive without them. Anyway, I dropped this novel months ago.
"I'm sure you've got the gist of everything." She chuckled. "I suggest going to your room and using the journal I handed you to get stronger. I'm sure you know how powerful your opponents are."

If you're convinced by the way the author showed how and why ML overglazing a common character, one that appears in nearly every web novel, then that's fair. I'm not expecting masterpiece-level writing, but I would've appreciated a bit more depth in this aspect.

I usually don’t like web novel male leads and rarely root for them because most are hypocrites, no explanation needed. I don’t mind whose story is being told as long as it is good. This novel is okay, but the premise and the male lead’s constant simping over the female lead kept pulling me out of the story. He glorifies her as a unique existence simply for being an ordinary character. I would have preferred if his devotion were grounded, like she is simply his type, rather than him repeatedly idealizing her for something she does not actually have.

So she’s the type to revel in a fake title and borrowed glory? How is she any different or interesting enough for the MC to become such a simp when almost every novel has characters like this? There may be excuses for why she does it, but at the end of the day, she feels very common. I don’t see his motivation behind his blind devotion. As a reader, it would be much better if we were shown what actually makes her different.

I Love the story, but I’m not a fan of how slow it’s moving forward. The author is someone who not only lists out the ingredients used in the dish, but also where they are bought from, where the ingredients are produced, how long it takes for those ingredients to reach the stores, who produced them, and all the history that isn’t needed to enjoy the dish. Most of the time, the author re-explains things again and again. I would have liked this novel much more if the author didn’t try to liquify the food and spoon-feed it to the audience. As for the MC, he is not interesting and not boring either.
I’m on chapter 113, and my impression of this novel is decent. Not good and not bad, just barely decent. Adrian died on Earth after overworking without proper rest, and it was even mentioned that his passion had turned into rot. Then he reincarnates, and once again all he does is work. He focuses only on inventing, and when he enters the academy, he immediately goes back into the same overworking pattern. He is ten years old in the story, for heaven’s sake. Let him grow a little. None of his inventions hooked me to the story. I actually started this novel to see the journey of his inventions and how they would reshape the world and how they contribute to his growth but everything ended up feeling bland. The knowledge he gains never feels rewarding, and there was not a single moment where I felt connected to it. The interaction between Karl and the MC’s sister felt completely out of characters, which only added to my growing dislike for the novel.
Why not? Almost every character feels the same because the dialogue seems ai generated, and the author didn’t bother to edit it to make the characters feel human or different. Also, the story offers nothing new or exciting. It might have been acceptable if this were his first novel, but since it’s not, a two star rating feels appropriate.
