As someone from Germany, you really wouldn‘t use “Mutter“ as a child. “Mama“ would be the equivalent to “Mom“ and more appropriate.

Going pretty good so far, although now comes the point where this story either holds strong or loses itself. I hope you manage to write Artos‘ character developement and motivation without losing who he is. It is difficult to do with such a personality without seeming like a raging child.
