i really like how you are setting things up, but i feel like it is to much at once, but this is just personal preference.
as in to many events in a short period of time, it feels like the story could do with a little more detail and focus on certain events.
so the entire world feels a little less rushed.
but like a said, personal preference so take it with a grain of salt.
my biggest issue currently is the MC, everyone walks over him while he is supposedly trying his hardest with working and etc.
the side characters are quite frequently to much with how they behave to the MC in my opinion.
I really hope there will be some development in this regard that the MC starts to act a little more mature and the people around him show him some decentcy.
but since its early in the story i will wait and see for now.
for now 4.0 out of 5 based on current situation in my opinion.
a fun read but could do with some improvement overall, and i can't give it a higher score for now.
